Within the Distribution Partnerships team we look after the global distribution of our inventory via third-party platforms (B2B2B2C). The distribution team is part of the Booking Partnerships department.

The role will be responsible for driving and coordinating our global acquisition and re-engagement efforts of App distribution via third-party platforms. The distribution methodologies can vary from pre-installs via device manufacturers to advertising campaigns via various types of networks. Our overarching goal is to make Booking.com the world’s most widely distributed and used travel experience App.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in setting up and implementing digital advertising campaigns, (including App distribution strategies) in a variety of environments such as advertising and affiliate networks, distribution partnerships, startups, SEO, SEM. Furthermore, a successful track record of delivery against (ROI) targets, optimizing against set KPIs and be well versed in tracking technologies employed in the context of app tracking to prevent fraud and drive value for the business.

A solid technical and analytical background, a strong understanding of the online (app) distribution landscape, ruthless prioritization skills and commercial acumen are key requirements.

B.responsible

  • Co-development and execution of our global app distribution strategy via third-party platforms
  • Identify, develop and implemented a partner/channel/ industry specific commercial and product offering to meet market standards and needs
  • Implementation of our tracking and reporting standards
  • Working with 1st and 3rd party tools and technologies
  • Frequent reporting of (granular) performance, plans, progress and problems
  • Use data to identify and prioritize work that drives additional value to the company and our distribution partners
  • Define and enforce our global advertising policies in close cooperation with other (distribution) teams
  • Within the broader marketing org, brainstorm and develop creative solutions/tactics that increase performance or drive incremental business e.g. A/B testing around engagement
  • Lead projects from start to finish: research, identify, prioritize, gain buy-in, implement and measure the results

B.skilled

  • 5+ years’ experience in media buying, product (marketing) management, distribution partnerships, startup, app advertising or ad/affiliate networks.
  • Well experienced working with/using MMP (Mobile Measurement Partner) at least a desired attribute.
  • Master degree or higher in an analytical focused degree such as Economics, Engineering, Science, etc.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, any other language a plus
  • Excellent ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • A creative approach to problem-solving; always looking for improvements to the way things are done
  • Knowledge of common tracking pitfalls and fraud practices
  • True data curiosity and the ability to derive new insights
  • Ability (or demonstrated willingness) to learn SQL, advanced Excel user.
