Partners are a significant channel for acquiring new sellers to PayPal. The mission of the Partner Products team is to build the right set of products and features that enable partners and their sellers to seamlessly onboard, process and manage their payments with PayPal. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who is pre-wired to love understanding people, their problems, and is passionate about creating experiences that are simple and effective. You will own, drive and create world-class seller experiences throughout the lifecycle. You are customer-centric, continuously demonstrate strategic & analytical abilities, and are laser focused on executing at scale. In this role, you will partner with diverse cross-functional teams to lead, execute, monitor, and deliver results for sellers. You must have the ability to succeed in a matrix environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners in a positive, productive, and transparent way.

What Will You Do

  • Build a strategic vision, goals & roadmap for optimizing our seller experiences throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create a deep understanding of our partners and their sellers. Analyze current seller experiences to define friction points. Leverage this to create simple and effective experiences to help sellers accomplish their objectives and create value.
  • Author detailed product requirements and lead an agile team to enhance seller experiences.
  • Build relationships with the wide array of teams who own elements of the vision to share execution and create disciplined accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and product managers to ensure that the product solution delivers against regional business objectives & partner needs.
  • Manage risk, drive business results, and deliver compelling features to drive worldwide seller adoption & engagement.
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers and provides leadership across the division, product, and/or partner ecosystem. Contribute and encourage a positive working environment despite constant change.

Who are we looking for

  • Track of record as a global product manager, designing, building and launching products that customers love and have a real business impact.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customers, ability to explore and structure customers’ insights.
  • Problem framing – you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to dive into details, unfazed by technology complexity.
  • Developed multi year visions for product aligned with business strategies. Have worked with one more large enterprises building highly scalable products.
  • Own metrics of your products and drive fast iterations of experiments
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology and understand technology. Detail-oriented, unfazed by technical detail, committed to flawless execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player; ability to interface and build relations at all levels internally and externally.
  • 7+ years of overall industry experience. 5+ years as a product manager. Prefer experience building customer web experiences.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech industry. Bachelor’s required.
  • Team player, sense of humor required
