Logistics Analyst, Inbound

The Role

Tesla is looking for a Logistics Analyst for our Inbound Logistics Team. We are seeking professional customer service experience and excellent oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities

• Engineering and manufacturing supply chain strategy to support complex and high volume supply chain.
• Lead cross-functional team including production, planning and warehouse to determine short-term and long-term strategy.
• Implements systems, process, configurations, and change/optimization projects in accordance with plans.
• Develop KPI, lead review meetings and develop projects in IT, operation and strategy to improve third-party logistics providers’ performance.
• Issue statistical or detailed reporting for stakeholders as requested including operation efficiency improvement, cost reduction and capacity planning.
• Oversee the initial setup of high volume of import shipments. Monitor execution of inbound shipments to support smooth production.
• Oversee booking and coordinating the most cost-effective and efficient means to import/export, engineer and manufacture goods within expected requirements.
• Pull data from internal database. Analyze, compile, and publish logistics dashboards and metrics for Tesla’s logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or the equivalent of experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
• 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to code in SQL and Tableau and deep dive in data.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity.
• Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of logistics best practices.
