We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented individual to procure critical hardware. This individual will respond to internal stakeholders quickly, provide frequent and accurate status updates, and have a high aptitude for driving tasks to completion independently.

Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Basic Qualifications

  • High motivation to learn, develop and perform in a fast-paced rapid prototyping environment
  • Attention-to-detail, alongside proven ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and financial applications
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, alongside willingness to learn other systems necessary for this position
  • Experience with metrics creation and data presentation
  • High bias for action – makes timely, practical, effective decisions
  • Persuasive with internal partners, and demonstrates the ability to earn trust of teams across the program
  • Experience with improving processes and improving scalability
  • Hands-on experience of running process, technology, or operations improvement projects or initiatives, including managing complex customer relationships
  • Possesses the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Significant previous experience in procurement/shared services center or BPO/program management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in procurement, operations management, or shared services environment
