This is a unique opportunity to transform the way PayPal uses customer data to create innovative and inspiring customer experiences. We’re looking for a leader to advance how we use data to deliver personalized experiences across the entire customer lifecycle. You will be charged with creating and driving the vision for Personalization across PayPal.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the vision for personalization through customer data and be the internal thought leader for this area
  • Constantly work with Key stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Service and Product Management and inspire them with our capabilities
  • Facilitate the capturing and crafting of use cases and translate them into detailed requirements and key data needs
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to meet these needs
  • Define and track success metrics
  • Manage and maintain a market-driven, evolving Product Roadmap
  • Work with Technology, Marketing, Operations, Business Stakeholders and other cross-functional teams on a daily basis to support their use of customer data for personalization
  • Manage a team of Product Managers

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in product management
  • A strong understanding of optimization, modeling and advanced personalization in a digital environment
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data pipelines
  • Experience with dependent systems including digital asset management (DAMs), content management (CMS) and real-time decisioning systems
  • Deep knowledge of marketing and ad technology features and capabilities
  • A quick learner for the needs of differing business domains (Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations)
  • A value-driven approach to product management
  • Ability to work directly with senior leaders
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams in a large, matrixed organization
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, great learner, creative, can get up to speed quickly
  • Has work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines, shifting priorities and who can handle pressure and sensitive situations with poise and emotional maturity
